The Louisville Dulcimer Society "JAM TREE" will be open for jamming Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Look for their tent among the tree-lined area outside the Amphitheater. Everyone is welcome.

* Dulcimer and hammered dulcimer classes will be held at the back of the Iroquois Amphitheater on Saturday morning, July 30, starting at

9:45 and ending at 11:15. The 90 minute workshops will be taught by Steve Seifert, Butch Ross, Rick Thum and Dan Landrum.

The cost is $20 payable directly to the instructor.

Participants should meet at the backstage entrance of the Amphitheater at 9:30 AM. You will then go to the artist of your choice.

A variety of levels will be taught, as well as topics. Classes will be taught in the backstage air-conditioned area of the Amphitheater.

No advance registration is required.
 


Saturday from 5:30pm to 6:30 pm there will be an old time dance near the Amphitheater entrance featuring caller Evie Ladin and a festival performer band.
